The intervention was conceived for the San Venanzio Gorge Nature Reserve, along the river where the San Venanzio Hermitage is located. The work consists of walking sticks installed at two points along the trail, which can be taken for use, and then relocated.
Engraved on the lower end of some of the sticks is the indication “center of the Earth,” which the stick points to by pointing to the ground, a reminder of the inseparable bond that man has with the Earth in keeping himself balanced so as not to fall.
