Residues as a resource to rethink the landscape.
2007-2008
Urban investigation project and landscape intervention.
Found yarns, plastic bags (12×8 cm), Pantone’s, photographic prints, dye plant seeds, and soil.
Former Cangioli Woolen Mill, Via Pomeria, Prato.
This work is carried out as a multi-step process, from earth to earth, starting from some findings (production waste), colored yarns that surfaced from the ground, to design a landscape intervention, a dye plant garden. The succession of phases of the work was then reworked graphically and presented in a wall installation.
